Blood donation programme amidst lockdown  

A blood donation programme was held in Saturday amidst the lockdown in order to ensure that there is no scarcity of blood for the needy. A total of 120 unit of blood was collected in the programme organized by Garden Club Pokhara-11.

Civil hospital resumes OPD services   

The Civil Hospital has resumed OPD services halted for long due to ongoing lockdown.     According to administrative officer at the hospital, Ranjana Nepal, the hospital is providing regular services including OPD and other critical services except eye and dental check up.    

NAC wide-body leaves for China to bring medical equipment 

A wide-body of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) flew to China to bring a shipment of medical equipment from Changsha. According to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the aeroplane took off a while ago.   

COVID-19 special hospital comes into operation in State-2   

A special hospital to treat coronavirus infected persons has come into operation here today. The hospital is established by the State-2 government in the premises of Nursing Campus.

Joint teams of the Ministry of Health and Population, the Nepali Army, the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have been dispatched to various districts of State-1, State-2, Gandaki State and State-5 on Friday.
