One dies in motorcycle accident  

A person died and another one got injury in the motorcycle accident occurred at Gangate of Bidur Municipality-5 in Nuwakot last night. Motorcyclist Thakur Adhikari, 21, from Bidur Municipality-3 died after the accident, said Chief of Traffic Police in the district, Bikal Bhattarai, adding that Adhikari was heading to Debhighat from Battar bazaar.

COVID-19: Nepal’s recovery rate is 42.7%

According to Dr Gautam, the number of infected people in the country reached 15,964 till Monday. He said that 469 cases got recovery in State 1; 2,072 in State 2; 639 in Bagmati and 295 in Gandaki State from the virus. Likewise, a total of 3,984 people returned home from the hospitals after complete recovery from the virus in State 5; 1,222 in Karnali State and 3,691 in the Sudur Paschim State.

Landslide displaces 24 households in Kalikot

According to a local official Dhaniram Neupane, the households were displaced after their homes fell into high risk of being buried in landslide with constant rainfall weakening the sloppy land above. With it, 126 people are directly affected and of them, 62 are children and three with disabilities. The villagers have been shifted to safer zone to avoid any damage.
