Kalikot, July 6: A total of 24 households have been displaced by landslide that took place at Khallagaun of Tilagufa Municipality in the district.
According to a local official Dhaniram Neupane, the households were displaced after their homes fell into high risk of being buried in landslide with constant rainfall weakening the sloppy land above.
With it, 126 people are directly affected and of them, 62 are children and three with disabilities. The villagers have been shifted to safer zone to avoid any damage.
The crops in the areas have already been destroyed by landslides.
