Angolan national held for swindling Rs 4.8 through online 

Police have arrested a foreign national involved in fake currency racket and online frauds. The Metropolitan Crime Division of the Nepal Police arrested Angolan national Silva Antonio Da Costa, 48, for defrauding a Nepali woman with over Rs 4.85 million through online.    

Two months of monsoon: 231 die, 77 go missing

Makwanpur imposes prohibitory order again

One dead, one missing after motorcycle plunges into river   

One person has died while a second is missing after a motorcycle fell into the Sano Rapti river in Dang last night. Two people traveling on a motorcycle (Lu. 57 Pa. 1100) fell into the river after hitting the bridge over the river in the incident that took place at Balrampur at 11:00 pm last light on the Lamahi-Gadhawa road section, said police inspector at the Ward Police Office, Gadhawa Prajjwal Thapaliya.    

Four doctors and one health worker including hospital head infected

The Chief Medical Superintendent of Bharatpur hospital, a hub hospital for treatment of Corona Virus patients has tested for positive to Corona Virus. A total of five health workers including four doctors were found infected.    

COVID-19 impact on NRNs on the decline   

The impact of Corona Virus infection on Nepalis outside the country has gradually declined. No Non-Resident Nepali died of the infection last week, according to press coordinator of Non-Resident Nepalis Association Chiran Sharma.
