Feast host tests positive: 70 samples collected
The head of a family that hosted a feast to celebrate the naming of a new born member has tested positive to Corona Virus, leading to fear of massive community spread from those who attended the occasion.
CCMC office-bearers test negative
Office-bearers of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee (CCMC) have tested negative to Corona Virus. This includes Deputy Prime Minister Iswar Pokharel, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Health Minister Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal and Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa, among others.
Team mobilized to examine cases of high fever
The team was mobilized from the Sudur Paschim Provincial Heath Directorate. The team that reached Mahakali on Saturday has collected blood samples from the sick and their family members.

Parliamentary hearing begins

Infected woman gives birth to twins
A woman, who had tested positive to Corona Virus, gave birth to twins at the Bharatpur hospital on Friday. A resident of Gorkha, she was admitted to the hospital on August 24. The 37-year-old was confirmed positive to Corona Virus two days later.
