Expansion of PCR test demanded in Saptari  

The district disaster management committee meeting on Friday appealed to the government to expand PCR test as coronavirus infection was spreading notably for some days after the lockdown was lifted. 

Tokha records 1300+ COVID-19 cases 

The number people testing positive to Corona Virus has crossed 1,300 in Tokha municipality. The tally has reached 1,301 with the addition of 66 new cases on Friday.

Minister Gyawali inspects hydro projects in Rasuwa

Minister Gyawali visited these projects in course of inspecting country’s northern border near Rasuwagadhi. He visited Syaphrubeshi based 22- megawatt Chilime Hydroelectric Project and 60-Megawatt Upper Trishuli-1 Hydroelectric Project.

EDCD begins study on community transmission of infection

The teams have been deputed to the provinces after imparting training to them in Kathmandu. Division's director Dr Basudev Pandey said the teams have been mobilized to study whether the COVID-19 infection has spread to community level.

Govt. offices closed in Kavre as staffers test positive for coronavirus

Issuing separate notices on Friday, the Land Revenue Office and Health Office said that the regular services of the offices were postponed till next Friday.
