Rasuwa, Oct. 9: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali has visited two hydro projects in the district today.
Minister Gyawali visited these projects in course of inspecting country’s northern border near Rasuwagadhi.
He visited Syaphrubeshi based 22- megawatt Chilime Hydroelectric Project and 60-Megawatt Upper Trishuli-1 Hydroelectric Project.
The Chilime Project had started generating power since 2060 BS and Upper Trishuli-1 started generating power last year.
According to Chief District Officer (CDO) Hari Prasad Panta, the Minister, also the spokesperson of the government, visited the sites.
On the occasion, Minister Gyawali also inspected Galchhi-Rasuwagadhi International Highway.
