The cases of COVID-19 among journalists and people’s representatives were surging in Mahottari district lately, possibly due to their exposure to people with known or suspected COVID-19 or possible COVID-19.

Three murder accused arrested in Saptari   

Police on Monday arrested three persons on the charge of killing 50-year-old Daimandevi Yadav of Tiruhut Rural Municipality-2 in Saptari district.    

One killed, two injured in Doti tractor accident

An elderly man infected with Coronavirus and was undergoing treatment at COVID-19 Hospital inside the BPKIHS succumbed to the flu-like infection at around 11 pm, informed BPKHIS’s spokesperson Dr Ashish Shrestha.

A 70-year-old man has died from COVID-19 in Dharan today. The man of Dharan Sub Metropolitan City-15 had stayed in home-isolation, said Umesh Mehata, chief of the sub metropolis health division.

The 79-year-old man who was undergoing treatment at Corona Special Hospital in Butwal breathed his last at 7.30 this morning, Information Officer at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Bishnu Gautam, said.
