Rupandehi, Oct 12: One more person has died due to coronavirus infection in Rupandehi.
The 79-year-old man who was undergoing treatment at Corona Special Hospital in Butwal breathed his last at 7.30 this morning, Information Officer at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Bishnu Gautam, said.
He was diagnosed of coronavirus infection on October 5 and was hospitalized the next day.
The person from Devdaha Municipality-10 was put on ventilator support in course of treatment when he died, Gautam said. With this the death toll from coronavirus infection in Rupandehi district has reached 40.
