Two more die of COVID-19 in Dharan   

The dead ones are a 57-year-old man from Shivagadhi-11 of Jhapa, and another 65-year-old man from Dharan-15. They died in the span of half hour this morning, according to Co-Spokesperson at BPKIHS, Dr Ashish Shrestha.   

  Ward member dies of COVID-19 

Member of Khairahani Municipality Ward No 12, Badri Bahadur Pande, died of COVID-19 last night. The 49-year-old was suffering from cancer as well.   

APF border outpost at Chhabbise of Ilam

Lumbini government spokesperson infected 

Minister for physical infrastructure development of Lumbini Baijanath Chaudhary has tested positive to Corona Virus. Also the spokesperson of the Lumbini government, Chaudhary was confirmed positive in a PCR test carried out on Friday.    

12,000+ recover in Province 2 

The number of people recovering from Corona Virus infection has crossed 12,000 in Province no. 2. Of the total 14,620 cases of COVID-19 as of October 16, 12,272 have recovered, according to the health directorate, Janakpurdham.

Temples not to open for devotees   

Temples and shrines will not be opened for devotees during the Bada Dashain festival in the country. The concerned priests will carry out the necessary nitya pooja and arati but not allow visitors in considering the increasing spread of Corona Virus across the country, including in the capital.
