Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dilendra Prasad Badu has said that an upcoming session of the House of Representatives (HoR) is expected to discuss the impeachment motion registered against Chief Justice (CJ) Cholendra Shumser JB Rana.

HoR meeting: Information Commission's report to be tabled 

The House of Representatives (HoR) is convening at 1pm today, the Parliament Secretariat said. The possible agenda of the meeting is presentation of the 'National Information Commission's Annual Report, Fiscal Year 2021/22'. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to table the Report.    

Litterateur, journalist Palpali passes away  

Literary writer and journalist BK Palpali (Bijaya Kumar Pokharel) has passed away.   Born in Palpa in 2032 BS, he breathed his last at own residence at Sipadole in Bhaktapur last night.  

NC Chitwan district convention set for Friday  

Nepali Congress Chitwan district convention is taking place on coming Friday. The convention which was put off several times before is likely to be held on March 4.      NC Chitwan district President Jeet Narayan Shrestha informed that the convention will take place at Narayani Kala Mandir in Narayangarh.
