Kathmandu, March 2: Two people were killed in a motorcycle (registration plate number Ba 6 Pa 1369) accident last night at Saraswotinagar of Kathmandu metropolis-6.
The Nepal Police Headquarters identified the deceased as motorcyclist Shivaraj Karki, 30, and pedestrian Durga Bahadur Karki. They both are from the Okhaldhunga district.
The fatal accident occurred when the motorcyclist lost control over the vehicle all of a sudden and hit the pedestrian.
The rider breathed his last in course of treatment at the Chabahil-based Helping Hands Hospital and the pedestrian died amidst the treatment at Om Hospital, according to the police.
