Bhaktapur, March 2 : Literary writer and journalist BK Palpali (Bijaya Kumar Pokharel) has passed away.
Born in Palpa in 2032 BS, he breathed his last at own residence at Sipadole in Bhaktapur last night.
He has been receiving dialysis service for the last few years after complications on both kidneys
Palpali's spouse and literary writer/journalist Renuka Bhatatrai informed that they could not save his life longer despite treatment lately.
His last rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat last night. Palpali was active in Nepali literary sector through Haiku, story, poetry and lyrics and also served journalism sector equally. He was the founder President of Perol Literary Foundation. He was survived by a son, a daughter and wife.
