UK provides 260 ventilators and other medical supplies to Nepal   

The Government of the United Kingdom has provided medical supplies to Nepal for the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19, the Embassy of Nepal in London said.

MoF releases one billion 410 million rupees to 41 hospitals

The Ministry today release funds worth one billion 410 million rupees to 41 different hospitals of the country. Those receiving the funds are government hospitals in Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha, Terhathum, Bhojpur, Khotang, Solukhumbu, Okhaldhunga, Rangeli, Sunsari, Sarlahi, who received Rs. 30 million each.

HAN demands govt to introduce holistic plan to restore tourism

The incentives provided to the hotel and tourism sectors should be doubled by the budget, HAN said, demanding top priority to this sector in the policy and programmes. It proposed the COVID special tourism restoration fund and tourism facilitation fund, reasoning that these sectors have not only contributed much to national economy and prosperity but also to international image of the country.
