Sudur Paschim Province records zero COVID-19 deaths in two days

The Sudur Paschim province has reported zero deaths from COVID-19 in the past two days. There has been no report of death from Corona Virus in the past 48 hours, the Health Directorate Dipayal has said. 

Monsoon rain in majority of the country

The majority of the country is experiencing general to mostly cloudy weather today. Likewise, light to moderate rain is likely to continue at many places of the country, the Weather Forecasting Division has said.    

500 Gurjo saplings planted in Bagmati river bank   

Gurjo shrub, believed to help cure many health disorders, has been planted in the Bagmati river bank starting from Tinkune to Ganesh temple. Around 500 saplings of the Tinospora cordifolia shrub donated by Gurjo campaigner Kamal Bahadur Rajlawat was planted by various users committee.    

Constitution has not bestowed President with separate powers: senior advocate Aryal

Taking part in the hearing of writ petitions on the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) today, senior advocate Aryal demanded the President appoint Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister of the country. He further argued that Deuba should be appointed as the prime minster to protect the Constitution as well.

Four districts receive NRNA assisted oxygen concentrators

The non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has provided 25 oxygen concentrators to Jhapa, Ilam, Panchthar and Taplejung districts to help in the treatment of COVID-19 patients.   

Hearing begins on HoR dissolution case
