Karnali, June 25: The 12th meeting of the eighth session of Karnali Province Assembly has been postponed until June 27 after the CPN (UML) obstructed its business shortly after the meeting began. The session has been put off four times since June 15.
At the meeting, chief whip of the UML Province Assembly Gulab Jung Shah accused the provincial government of its failure to understand sensitivity as 10 days were passed since the presentation of budget for the fiscal year, 2021/22.
He criticised the Chief Minister, who, he said, blamed internal disputes within the UML for parliament’s failure to do its business. UML lawmakers are not blamed for the disruption of the session, Shah maintained.
