Chunwang’s garlic finds better market this time   

Garlic produced at Chunwang of Bhume Rural Municipality – 9 in Rukum East has found a better market this time. This year, a total of 453 quintals of garlic was produced in the village.    

Man missing since six days 

A man has gone missing since the past six days. A resident of Dandakharka in Kusma municipality-14, Bal Krishna BK has been reported missing since June 29.

The BP highway has been resumed for traffic after the obstruction due to floods in Mamti river in Roshi rural municipality was cleared. One-way traffic has been resumed at the joint initiative of police, the rural municipality, road project and locals.

Flash floods inundate over 500 houses in Udayapur

More than 500 houses in Tapeshwari, Aambasi and Bhagalpur areas of Belaka municipality in Udayapur district have been inundated due to incessant rains since last night. The nonstop rainfall triggered flash floods from local rivers which entered the settlements, inundating houses.  

35 houses waterlogged in Jhapa

As many as 35 houses of Jhapa have been waterlogged when the rain-triggered floods in the rivers sneaked into the human settlements.

Recent impact of monsoon wind expected to diminish

The weather remained generally to completely cloudy throughout the country in the last three days causing light to moderate rainfall in most places and even heavy/very heavy rain at few places.
