An elderly man was killed in a tiger attack at Bhagraiya of Madhuban Municipality-3 in Bardiya district when he was collecting fodder and firewood inside the Samjhana Community Forest.

Pashupati Temple not to open in Shrawan for public

The Pashupati Area Development Trust has stated that the Pashupati temple will not open for the public in the upcoming holy month of Shrawan. The temple remains closed for the public since the beginning of the lockdown imposed to control the coronavirus outbreak in April earlier this year.

A teenager died in a road accident involving two motorcycles in the capital today. Bija Tamang,18, a resident of Nuwakot died when two motorcycles collided with each other in front of the Hotel Hyatt gate in Boudha.

EC releases HoR election schedule

According to SC spokesperson Raj Kumar Shrestha, the time for registration of a political party is fixed for July 15 to July 30. The election programme for the first phase election will begin from October 7 to October 11. Similarly, the election programme for the second phase will begin on October 16 to October 22.
