Heightening risk of scrub typhus in Baitadi 

The risk of scrub typhus has increased in recent days in the district. The risk of the disease has increased after scrub typhus infection was found in people coming to the hospital and health facilities seeking treatment.    

Muglin- Naubise road operational   

The Muglin-Naubise road which was blocked due to landslide has been opened for traffic. The road was obstructed since 2 am today due to the deposition of landslide debris on the road, the Area Police Office, Muglin said.

Nepal improves in ODI ranking   

In the new ranking issued on Tuesday by ICC Nepal has climbed one step to the 15th position. Before this, Nepal was in the 16th position.     Nepal's ranking has improved after it defeated USA in the match held on Monday under the triangular one-day series of ICC World Cup Cricket League-2.  

Muglin- Naubise road obstructed   

The Area Police Office, Muglin said the road has been blocked by debris from a landslide near Nagdikhola, Ichchhyakamana rural municipality-5 of Chitwan district.

Cabinet will be given full shape in some days: Minister Bhusal 

Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal has said the Council of Ministers will get its full shape within few days. Addressing a party cadres' meeting organised by CPN (Maoist Centre) Shuklagandaki Town Committee at local Belchautara today, she said the Cabinet expansion stalled for long will now be forwarded.    

Replacement bill has been brought to encourage domestic industries: Finance Minister   

Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said the police provisions made in the Budget Ordinance Replacement Bill so as to encourage the domestic industries would not be changed. Inaugurating the two-day management seminar of the Inland Revenue Department today, he asserted that the arrangements made for the long-term benefit of the country would not be altered.
