Dipayal airport comes into operation again

Dipayal Airport that remained closed due to coronavirus has been brought into operation again from Saturday. According to the Airport Office, the flight service that remained shut due to the growing risk of coronavirus has been brought into resumption with the decline in the score of coronavirus cases. 

Congress Kathmandu ward convention to be held on September 21   

The ward convention of the Nepali Congress (NC) in Kathmandu is scheduled to be held on September 21. A meeting of the Kathmandu District Committee of the NC held on Friday decided to start the ward convention on Tuesday.    

Police arrest two Indian nationals in possession of counterfeit Nepali, Indian currency notes   

The police have arrested two Indian nationals in possession of counterfeit Nepali and Indian currency notes in the denominations of Rs 1000, Rs 500, Rs 100, Rs 50, Rs 20, Rs 10 and Rs 5 and INR 100, amounting to over Rs 27,000 from Aaurahi bazaar in Mahottari district.

Fair price shops opened, sale outlets set up at 43 places in 39 districts  

The government has operated the fair price shops from today in view of the upcoming Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festivals. The fair price shops will sell daily consumer items to the general public at subsidized rate.

The Pokhara Metropolitan City said its expenditures schedule last fiscal year got affected as COVID-19 pandemic had its implications in the implementation of development projects.
