Seven construction companies blacklisted 

The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has blacklisted seven construction companies. The Office issued a notice informing that the companies were blacklisted because they failed the completion of pr0ject as per contract.

One dies due to drowning, another one missing in Babai river   

A person died after drowning in the Babai river on Monday. Another person has gone missing. Hukum BK from Baglung died due to drowning while Lekhnath Poudel of Barbardiya has gone missing in the river, the District Police Office said.    

Over 2K kids undergo eye checkup   

More than 2,000 children have had their eyes examined in Namobuddha Municipality of the district. The eye checkup service was provided as part of the Municipality's the Doorstep Campaign. 

Remaining post-earthquake reconstruction to be carried out through coordination   

The remaining post-earthquake reconstruction works should be expedited in coordination among all the bodies concerned for their timely completion.     This was the conclusion of a discussions programme among the House of Representatives, Development and Technology Committee, the National Reconstruction Authority and the Ministries and agencies which have been handed over the reconstruction works.

Chair Nepal returns home after treatment

Nepal had been admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on September 29 with complaints of fever and cough. According to Dilu Kumari Pant, central member of the Unified Socialist Party, leader Nepal returned to his residence in Koteshwar after recovery.

Around 400 houses forced to live in dark in Myagdi

Around 400 households have been forced to live in the dark following the closure of a micro hydropower project. Power production from the 30-KW Dajung Khola Micro Hydroelectricity Project has been suspended since September 30.
