Internet service in many areas across country affected following NEA’s move   

Internet service in most of the areas across the country including the Kathmandu Valley has been affected after the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has launched a drive to remove internet cables from utility poles used by internet service providers (ISPs).

Maharjan elected in Tarkeshwar and Budhathoki in Budhanilkantha  

Krishna Hari Maharjan has been elected as the president of Nepali Congress Tarkeshwor Municipality. He won the municipal-level election as part of the party's 14th general convention on Saturday with 135 votes. His nearest rival Shri Ram Thapa got 114 votes.     

Alternative to Mechi highway to be used in Ilam
