Japan donates six ambulances to Nepal   

The Government of Japan has donated six ambulances to Nepal. Ambassador of Japan to Nepal Kikuta Yutaka handed over the ambulances to Minister of State for Health and Population of Nepal Umesh Shrestha amid a function here today.    

Poudel sees need of transformation in party

Nepal-India combined military training concludes

An infantry battalion each from the Indian Army and the Nepal Army participated in the 14-day exercise ‘Surya Kiran XV’, which commenced on September 20, the Public Relations and Information Directorate of Nepal Army said. It is said that 300 Nepal Army personnel and 400 Indian Army personnel took part in the combined military training.

Tourist arrival slightly picks up with implementation of on-arrival visa system

A slight improvement has been seen in tourist arrival in the country in recent days. The positive impact on tourist arrival is due to the new system that the government brought for the foreign tourists amidst the COVID-19 risk. Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) said this positive impact is seen in tourist arrival after the government made arrangements for the 'on-arrival visa', especially for foreign tourists.
