PM Deuba lands in Chitwan to address UML’s 10th National Congress   

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has arrived Chitwan in connection with addressing the 10th National Congress of the CPN (UML).     The Prime Minister, who is also the central President of the major ruling party Nepali Congress (NC), arrived here on a helicopter.

Seven held with brown sugar  

Police have arrested seven persons from Bhadrapur of Jhapa district for their alleged involvement in the smuggling of banned drug brown sugar on Thursday evening.     The arrested ones are Narayan Rajbansi, 19, and Prakash Rajbansi, 22, of Bhadrapur-7 Telebhitta.
