Govt launches sanitary pad distribution campaign

Under the campaign, girl students from grade six to grade 12 will get the facility of sanitary pads according to their needs. The Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MOEST) launched the pad distribution programme on Monday at a function organised at Siddhimangal Secondary School, Siddhipur, Mahalaxmi Municipality, Lalitpur.

Efforts on to operate Nepal-Australia direct flight   

Efforts are underway to ensure a direct flight between Nepal and Australia, it has been said. A bilateral agreement to this was signed on October 2.      Data shows that around 150 thousand Nepalis currently reside in Australia and in the absence of direct flight, those Nepali community and tourists leaving here for a Nepal visit are forced to endure several transit routes.
