COVID-19: Rhino census not taking place this year   

The likelihood of conducting rhino census looks but unfeasible due to the lockdown in the face of COVID-19 pandemic and the adverse weather on top of it. However, the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation (DNPWC) has completed all preparations for the census.    

ECAN to assist Nepali students abroad   

The Educational Consultancies Association of Nepal (ECAN) has started taking complaints through emergency forms from Nepali students abroad. Nepali students pursuing higher education in any country can register their complaints using the emergency form, ECAN stated.

Coronavirus in Nepal: 8 active case, 113 in isolation, 1,529 sample test conducted

3 new positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Saturday, taking the number of active cases to 8 and total to 9. A case that was confirmed over a month ago had recovered and discharged from the hospital in Kathmandu.

264 people in quarantine

All four samples test negative for COVID-19 in Janakpur

Secretary at the State-2 Ministry of Social Development Ram Prasad Ghimire shared this information at a press meet today. It may be noted that 38 out of 79 sample swabs sent for lab test in State-2 tested negative as of today. The reports of 41 suspects are yet to be received, he said.
