Nepal lockdown: 4,000 pedestrians, 7,500 drivers punished in 20 days
The police have punished at least 4,000 public and more than 7,500 vehicles in the last 20 days for defying the lockdown.
COVID-19 test begins in Bhaktapur Hospital
The test for COVID-19 among the suspected ones in the district has begun in Bhaktapur Hospital after the Hospital received the kit for rapid diagnosis of the infection.
Lightning kills two, injures nine
Two persons died and nine others got injury after being struck by lightning in the district last night. The dead ones are 13-year-old Rajmani Rai and 38-year –old Nirmala Bishwokarma from Kopilasgadhi rural municipality-1 of the district.
Insurance coverage for doctors, security persons and journalists
The State government has initiated life insurance for medical personnel, security persons and media persons working for prevention and control of Corona Virus in the State. A meeting of the State government has decided to provide an insurance coverage of Rs. 1.5 million for them, according to the Chief Minister's Secretariat.
183 return home from Quarantine
The people who were quarantined at the local Khula Manch and tested negative in the Rapid Diagnostic Test for Corona Virus have been sent home. Their test was done after they completed the 19 days at the quarantine.
