‘NRA makes 88% progress in private house reconstruction’

The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) said that it had been able to attain significant achievement in reconstruction and rehabilitation in almost four and a half years of its establishment. As of today, there has been 88 per cent progress in the reconstruction of private houses which is the primary focus of the NRA, Chief Executive Officer of the reconstruction body Sushil Gyawali said in a press statement on Wednesday on the eve of the 5th year of the 2015 earthquake.

5 of same family infected by COVID-19, number reaches 28 in Udaypur

Crime accused tested positive for coronavirus in RDT 

A crime accused brought for the rapid diagnostic test (RDT) before sending to detention has been tested positive to coronavirus. The 48-year-old person arrested for his alleged involvement in brutal attack on Sogbir Ram from Dakaneshwori municipality-4 in the district was found positive in the RTD conducted at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital.

The nurses were kept in the isolation after they tested positive twice for the SARS-COV-2 in the RDT.

WOREC records 83 VAW cases during lockdown, most related to domestic violence

According to the Women Rehabilitation Center (WOREC), it has recorded 83 cases of violence against women and girls from 13 districts through its three hotlines and 28 psycho-social councilors in the period of lockdown which has been in force since March 24.

3628 people undergo test for coronavirus in State-1

  110 Russians taken back to home 

As said by TIA general manager Devendra KC, the flight operated by the Russia-based Joint Stock Company-run Chartered Airlines landed at TIA this morning to take those Russian citizens stuck in Nepal due to lockdown back to home. Religious activities come to halt at mosques in Surkhet  

Two mosques in Surkhet have halted religious activities around one month following the enforcement of nationwide lockdown over coronavirus. No religious activities would be allowed at the mosques in Birendranagar-10 from Sunday onward, according to a statement issued by Phakir Bax, chairperson of the Madina Study Centre, Surkhet.  

23 people kept in isolation in State-1

Twenty three people, including six women, are kept in isolation for the prevention, control and treatment of coronavirus in State-1. They are all under the supervision of the health workers.
