Nurses who tested positive in RDT confirmed to be negative in PCR

By Saroj Dhungel, Kathmandu, April 22: Two nurses working at the central jail who were found to be COVID-19 positive in the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) on Tuesday have been confirmed negative for the virus through the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method today.

The nurses were kept in the isolation after they tested positive twice for the SARS-COV-2 in the RDT.

Sagar Rajbhandari, director at Sukraraj Tropical and Infection Disease Hospital (STIDH) informed that the report of the PCR test of the two nurses working at the central jail was found to be negative for the virus.
