Two succumb to COVID-19 in Saptari

The deceased was a teacher in Morang district. He was admitted to Biratnagar-based Birat Teaching Hospital after he suffered from fever and headache and when he tested positive for COVID-19 there, he was taken to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar where he breathed his last while under treatment.

Over 6,000 COVID-19 patients fully recovered, 79 die due to infection in Lalitpur 

A total of 6,316 COVID-19 infected people in Lalitpur district have enjoyed full recovery till date.

Valley dogs found infected with communicable tumour

A large number of stray and pet) dogs in the Kathmandu Valley are found to be infected with Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumours (CTVT), a type of communicable canine cancer, for the last few years. Govt directs hospitals not to take deposits from COVID-19 patients

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has sought explanation from those government hospitals, which are taking or have decided to take deposit from the COVID-19 patients. Speaking at a media briefing, Sunday, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson at the MoHP, said that the ministry has already directed government hospital for providing treatment without taking any deposit from the COVID-19 patients.

Three more die of COVID-19 in Jhapa  

Three persons died of COVID-19 in Jhapa district this morning. The dead ones are the men- one each from Damak Municipality, Kamal Rural Municipality and Gauradaha Municipality.
