By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 27: C.P. Mainali, General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), along with five others have been airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment.
Mainali's car with registration no. Ba 4 Cha 2120 had collided with a pick-up van with registration no. Na 4 Kha 7668 at Ratu Bridge, informed Madhav Prasad Budhathoki, Deputy Superintendent of Police, cheif at the District Police Office, Mahottari.
They were airlifted to Grande Hospital, Kathmandu after completion of preliminary treatment at Bardibas-based Janasewa Hospital, informed DSP Budhathoki.
Mainali, along with his family were en route to Kathmandu from Mahottari.
Mainali and his son Saroj Mainali, 30, daughter-in-law Puja Dhungana Mainali, 5 year old grandson and driver Ram Prasad Poudel were injured in the accident.
