Pachali Bhairav tells tale of single mother

Staging of a drama based on a tragic love story of Pachali Bhairav and Rukmani or Naiajima that had begun on November 11 concluded here on Saturday. The play was staged for nine days at the Kaushi Theatre in Teku. On the last day of the show, former Minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya and Deputy Mayor Hariprbha Khadgi Shrestha enjoyed the play. They also presented appreciation letters to all artistes.

People aged 12 to 17 years being vaccinated

The government has started to inoculate Pfizer, a vaccine against COVID-19 to people in the age group of 12 to 17 from today. Only people suffering from chronic diseases were vaccinated with Pfizer until Saturday. With more Pfizer vaccine in stock, the government has decided to vaccinate healthy children aged between 12 and 17.

NC’s federal constituency level convention today

Federal Constituency level convention of the Nepali Congress under its 14th general convention is being held on Monday. NC Central Election Committee member Tej Rawal informed that The Rising Nepal on Sunday that the general convention would be held in 62 districts.
