By Manu Hamal, Surkhet, Jan 7: A person died while another sustained serious injuries when a bus veered off the road and fell 700 meters down into the Bheri River.
Ram Prasad Gharti, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in the Surkhet District Police Office, informed that the bus met an accident along Chhinchu Jajarkot road section, at Bhulke, Gurbhakot Municipality-9 in Surkhet district.
He said that there were only three people on the bus- a driver, his helper, and a passenger.
DSP Gharti said that an investigation into the accident was underway and that it was yet to be learnt where the bus was heading for although it was learnt that the bus came from Dang.
