Kathmandu, Mar. 24: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has invited Bollywood actor Salman Khan to Nepal.
He invited the Indian actor through a video conference held in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Minister Ale also urged the actor to help in the promotion of Nepali tourism.
In the video conference, Minister Ale said that Nepal is in the process of reviving after the COVID-19 pandemic, and if the Bollywood superstar promotes Nepal, it will send a positive message that Nepal is open for tourists.
Taking the proposal of the Minister Ale positively, actor Khan said that Nepal is a beautiful country and he would help promote tourism in Nepal.
Actor Khan said that he would be visiting Nepal on May 28 for a programme to be held at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu, and he is very excited about his trip to Nepal.
During the 10-minute virtual conversation, Minister Ale said that he was a big fan of actor Khan and had watched many of his movies.
Minister Ale also invited actor Khan to climb 8848.86 meter tall Mt. Everest.
He also requested him to have mountain flight with him. “I am very eager to welcome you in the land of the Buddha,” Minister Ale said to the Indian film star.
As he is a world famous actor, Minister Ale said that Khan’s visit to Nepal would be of great help for Nepal in the promotion of Nepali tourism.
When Minister Ale requested actor Khan to shoot his films in Nepal, the latter said that if his films demands Nepal as its shooting destination, he would be happy to come to Nepal for that.
ODC Entertainment is bringing the Indian superstar to Nepal for the Dabang Reloaded Tour along with other Bollywood actors like Sonakshi Sinha, Kriti Senon, and Prabhu Dewa.
They will perform at Dasharath Stadium.
According to the organisers, they have expected 30,000 audiences for the programme.
