By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 1: Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed detection of 1,622 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Kathmandu Valley.
According to the Ministry, a total of 13,013 PCR tests were conducted across the country in the same period.
Of the infected found in the Valley in the last 24 hours, 1,362 were from Kathmandu, 164 from Lalitpur and 96 from Bhaktapur.
2,824 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 were found across the nation in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry, while 2,620 persons recovered from the deadly virus in the same period.
