By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 9: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Monday confirmed 1,428 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.
In 11,117 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the last 24 hours, as many as 1,428 persons were found with the SARS-CoV-2 infection in the valley, according to the MoHP update on COVID-19.
Of the 1,428 new cases confirmed in the Valley, 630 are women while 798 are men.
According to the MoHP, there are 15,182 active cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu, 2,259 in Lalitpur and 1,143 in Bhaktapur.
415 COVID-19 patients have died in the Valley till the date.
