By Chitra Mijar, Sindhupalchowk, May 16: The Barhabise Municipality has enforced lockdown more strictly following death of a 29-year old COVID-19 suspect of Barhabise-9.
The deceased was a postpartum woman who was suffering from respiratory difficulty.
Madhav Kafle, Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk, said that additional police forces were deployed at the borders of Barabise Municipality.
The police have also started preparations to prohibit entry and exit from the Municipality.
Nabaraj Neupane, Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Barhabise, said that the municipality was under high surveillance, prohibiting people to step out from their houses.
The village would be sealed on the basis of PCR report of the deceased.
