By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, Apr. 18: All schools in Banke district have been closed for a week starting today for fear of fast spreading infections of SARS-CoV-2.
Some students and teachers were found infected in places such as Nepalgunj, Duduwa, Kohalpur and Khajura, and so as to avoid situation becoming terrible, schools have been asked to shut down, according to the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center of Banke.
Tej Oli, Coronal Focal Person of Banke, said that the decision to shut down schools was taken to keep the infections under control.
