Dengue cases on rise in Myagdi

The number of patients suffering from dengue, caused by mosquito bites, has been on the rise in Myagdi district.
According to Beni Hospital, a day earlier only two patients were diagnosed with dengue but the number of dengue infections reached 44 as of Friday.
Information officer at the hospital Prakash Subedi said, “A day earlier, an eight-year-old boy of Jaljala Rural Municipality-3, Parbat, and 46-year-old man of Beni Municipality-4 were found to have been infected with dengue.”
