With 60% of total active cases of COVID-19, Kathmandu Valley is now a hotspot

The Kathmandu Valley, in recent times has become the COVID-19 'hotspot' with 1,000 to 1,500 new cases being identified on a daily basis. As of Sunday, the national COVID-19 tally stood at 86,823 including 64,069 cases of recovery. Of the total 86,823 cases across the nation, 27,920 were detected in the Kathmandu Valley itself, thereby occupying 2/3rd of the tally.
