Males make up 66.5% of COVID-19 infected

Nepal’s COVID-19 caseload reached 240,981on Sunday with 1,096 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. Of the total COVID-19 infected people, 66.5 per cent are males while 34.5 per cent are females, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP). According to the latest MoHP tally, the total 240,981, includes 157,742 males and 83,239 females.

EU to cooperate for improved aviation safety in Nepal

The European Union (EU) said on Sunday that the adoption of the Civil Aviation Bill by the Parliament and implementation would pave the way to remove Nepal from the European Union’s Air Safety List. Issuing a statement on the occasion of the International Civil Aviation Day, the commission said that it was aware of the efforts that have been undertaken by the country, notably as regards the proposed new aviation legislation currently in the Parliament.
