Mohana river renders 8 families homeless

Eight families of Bhajani Municipality-7 Himmatpur in Kailali district have been displaced after the flooded Mohana River started cutting its embankment. The river has swelled after an incessant rainfall. The families have become homeless after the rising water level in river put the human settlement at risk. They have been forced to take temporary shelters in a nearby forest. Flood-affected Kishan Chaudhary said that they had to relocate their houses after the river put their life at risk.
