Illegal import, smuggling continue in Banke

Despite tightening of security at all checkpoints, including the main Nepal-India border checkpoint, due to COVID-19, illegal imports and smuggling are being continued. Children enrolled in schools at right age have better learning achievement: Report

Children getting chances to be enrolled in school education in their right have better learning achievement than under age children and over age children, a government report revealed. The report recently launched by Education Review Office (ERO) under the Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MOEST) stated that students who have completed 14 and 15 years of age while they are studying in grade 10 have achieved higher than average learning achievement.

13% citizens fully vaccinated

Total 504 Nepalis come home from Afghanistan

Nepali migrants in Afghanistan continue to return home following the takeover of the country by the Taliban rebels.
