Additional 208,700 doses of AstraZeneca arrive

The government has received another 208,700 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines provided by Japanese government under the COVAX facility.   According to Bade BabuThapa, Senior Pharmacist of the supply management branch, under the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the Qatar Airlines carrying 208,700 doses of anti-COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Kathmandu Saturday morning.

Over 4.9 million people get first dose of COVID vaccine

More than 4.9 people in Nepal have received their first dose of vaccine against COVID-19 and more than 3.8 million have received their full dose as of Sunday. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 4,942,250 people have received their first shot against COVID-19 and 3,846,736 of them are fully vaccinated.
