Over 4.9 million people get first dose of COVID vaccine

More than 4.9 people in Nepal have received their first dose of vaccine against COVID-19 and more than 3.8 million have received their full dose as of Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 4,942,250 people have received their first shot against COVID-19 and 3,846,736 of them are fully vaccinated.
The government is administering vaccines including AstraZeneca, Covishield, Johnson & Johnson and Vero Cell across the country.
