Two killed in lightning  

Two persons have died after being hit by a lightning on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Rabin Pun,26, and Yam Kumari Garbuja,41, of Khiwang in ward no. 6 of Annapurna municipality. They died today during treatment at Beni hospital, according to the District Police Office.    

Three-month consolidation campaign begins

Butwal-Palpa road to remain closed for eight hours a day

The section is to remain closed for vehicles for eight hours a day: from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm and from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm till Chaitra 12 (March 25) in view of the road improvement works, said Road Division Office, Palpa.
