Tanahu, March 15 : The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Tanahu has begun a three-month-long party unity consolidation and people's relations expansion campaign. NCP central member and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of Gandaki state Hari Bahadur Chuman initiated the campaign here on Saturday.
On the occasion, he said that the campaign would help unite the party made up of then cpn-uml and cpn-maoist in words and spirit of unification at the grassroots level top. The campaign will also cover awareness generation about the coronavirus that has now spread across the globe, he added.
Central member Yek Bahadur Rana, Asha Koirala and other speakers emphasized on the need to make the consolidation campaign meaningful to add vigour to the cadres up to the local level and harmonize relations with the people.
The campaign shall comprise ward level meetings and training as well. Various aspects of the party unity and the progress made by the NCP-led government will also be publicized during the campaign.
