People of Myagdi district living in the United States of America have donated over Rs 3.4 million to the flooding victims of the district.

53 industries to be built in Tilottama industrial village 

As many as 53 small and cottage industries are being established in the industrial village to be developed at Tilottama municipality of Rupandehi district. The industrial village would be built at Sagrahawa, ward no 10 of the municipality.   

     Jajarkot village lacks medicines 

Junichande rural municipality in the district is reeling under lack of medicines. There are health institutions each at the municipality wards, but all of these lack medicines, thus affecting patients, said a rural municipality official.    

One-way traffic resumes on Narayangadh - Muglin road  

The Narayangadh-Muglin road that was blocked at Charkilo due to a landslide has been opened for one-way traffic. The road was opened single lane at 10.30 this morning after removing a portion of the landslide debris that had deposited on the road, the District Police Office Chitwan said.    

     Gautam Buddha airport sees 92 percent physical progress; gaining technical progress still a challenge 

The ongoing construction of physical infrastructures of Bhairahawa-based Gautam Buddha International Airport, a national pride project, has almost completed. Only remaining works to be fixed at the airport include installing lights and equipment. 

Plasma bank set up for treatment of critical COVID-19 patients   

The Regional Blood Transmission Centre Bharatpur has started setting up a plasma bank for coronavirus infected people. Centre’s Chief Ramesh Kanta Poudel shared the Centre has collected fresh blood of four coronavirus-recovered patients for depositing plasma.    

Landslide disrupts Narayangarh-Muglin road section   

A landslide has disrupted the Narayangarh-Muglin road section. The two-way road traffic has come to a halt after the landslide occurred at Ichhakamana-6, Charkilo Danda of Chitwan at 8.10 am this morning.
