146 Nepali migrant workers repatriated via charter flights   

A total of 146 Nepali migrant workers were repatriated via charter flights from Bahrain today. These people were stranded in various places of Bahrain due to COVID-19 outbreak and its effect in their job settlement.    

  26 police persons infected in a ward office 

Twenty-six police persons at Ward Police Office, Narayangadh, have contracted coronavirus. The result of the samples tested at COVID-19 laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital came on Friday and this morning.    

One dies of COVID-19 in Kaski   

A person died of COVID-19 in Pokhara today. An 85-year-old man of Putalibazaar Municiplaity-1 died at Western Regional Hospital, Corona Special Hospital Treatment Centre.   

     One dies of COVID-19 in Rupandehi 

A person has died of COVID-19 in Rupandehi. A 40-year-old man of Somsatiya rural municipality-4 died at the Corona Special Hospital in Butwal.    

Koshi hospital receives RNA extraction equipment 

The Biratnagar metropolis has handed over a RNA extraction machine for Corona Virus testing to the Koshi hospital. Mayor of the metropolis Bhim Parajuli handed over the machine to chair of the hospital management committee Mahesh Bhattarai at a function held here on Friday.    

   Cheetah taken under control from pheasant farm   

A Cheetah that had entered a poultry farm in Singha of ward no. 4 in Beni municipality has been taken under control. A team from the National Nature Conservation Trust in Chitwan fired a tranquilizer shot to take the Cheetah under control.    

One among three dead confirmed Corona positive   

One of the three persons who died at Bharatpur hospital has been confirmed positive to Corona Virus. The 46-year-old man from ward no. 2 of Ratnanagar municipality tested positive to the virus.  

     Call to open cultural sites   

The World Hindu Federation has expressed concern over the closure of the temple, shrines and other religious sites for the past six months. It has demanded that the sites be opened by maintaining social distancing.    

KMC urges Kathmandu administration to ban shops on footpath, cart

Khadgi further reminded CDO Dahal that the KMC had already removed the running of shops on footpath and cart from its annual policy and programmes. So it was against the KMC policy.

Ministry asks doctors to come in its contact

Senior Medical Superintendent at the Policy, Plan and Monitoring Division of the Ministry, Dr Pawan Jung Rayamajhi, has urged the doctors studied under government scholarship to come in Ministry’s contact within five days.
