Jajarkot, Sept 11 : Junichande rural municipality in the district is reeling under lack of medicines. There are health institutions each at the municipality wards, but all of these lack medicines, thus affecting patients, said a rural municipality official.
As a result, these health institutions have been forced to return patients empty handed, said chief of the health section, Prem Shahi.
Authority was yet to be got for spending new budget, which causes a delay in purchasing medicines, he said. Difficulties also arose as an agreement was yet to be reached to extend the rent contract for the buildings housing the health institutions, he said.
