CMC to conduct PCR test in two hours

The Chitwan Medical College (CMC) here has begun conducting PCR test within two hours from today. Each such test costs Rs 3,000. For the regular PCR test, it costs Rs 2,000, informed CMC’s communication coordinator Dr Kishor Adhikari.

     Petrol tanker truck plunges into Trishuli   

A truck carrying petroleum products has met an accident and plunged into the Trishuli river in Charaundi of Galchi rural municipality-6. The truck (Na. 4 Kha. 2822) burst into flames after the fall, according to eye witnesses.

Local levels in Kailali have begun preparing to resume teaching and learning activities in the schools. The schools remain closed since the past six months following the outbreak of Corona Virus.    

Cancer hospital staff found dead   

A staff of the BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Bharatpur has been found dead. Surya Mishra,32, a resident of Simara was found dead in the canal that passes through the hospital, according to District Police Office, Chitwan.   

     Youth raise funds for flood survivors 

Local youths have collected cash and food supplies for the Dhorpatan flood survivors. Cash equivalent to Rs. 1.14 million and food supplies were distributed on Friday.
